Well, for some it did, but not the dedicated players from the Roosevelt Island Pick Up Softball Meetup Group who continued to play Saturday mornings at Firefighters Field into the month of November.

But, as the weather starts to get colder, all good things must come to an end. That includes the 2010 Roosevelt Island Pick Up Softball season as these intrepid softballers played their last game of the year yesterday morning.
