If only the Roosevelt Island Tram ride across the East River was this fast, the lines would be much smaller. Earlier today Tram Riders in Cologne German y were stranded in the air and had to be rescued. A Roosevelt Island resident remarked:

Let’s hope this NEVER happens to us.
