The Roosevelt Island FDR Four Freedoms Park hosted it’s 5th annual Sunset Garden Party fundraiser

on a beautiful evening last Wednesday, June 14. Journalist Tom Brokaw was honored for:

… his incredible commitment and extraordinary leadership in the defense of free speech and expression….

Mr Brokaw said: Mr Brokaw was introduced by FDR 4 Freedoms Park founder Ambassador William vanden Heuvel and NY State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul: The speeches were pretty good. Take a listen. Among those enjoying the festivities
