A Roosevelt Island resident reports:
On Sunday I took some pictures of all the garbage
the soccer players throw
around the field.
I realize that they should have more garbage containers / trash cans. The closest they have are in the boardwalk or the street.
We also need signs around the island advising (or reminding) that we are in “an Island” and any garbage the wind blows, it will end up in the river. Making the problem worse.
