Roosevelt Island resident Irena Skuletic shares this photo and reports:
We just saw a hawk sitting near the tennis wall at Al Lewis playground,
he looked beautiful, we were all taking pictures, and then he flew away, and he was holding a dead rat in his claws!
That’s probably one of the reason there are dead and dismembered animals on the island.
