During September 20 meeting , the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp ( RIOC ) Board of Directors approved a 3 year permit extension for the NYPD Canine Unit to continue to use the Southtown Lot pictured below

as an Agility and Training Course.
The Southtown lot being used for the NYPD Canine Agility Course and surrounding areas are part of the future site for Riverwalk Buildings 7-9.

The NYPD Canine Agility Permit can be cancelled if RIOC decides it needs the area for its own purposes.
