First Roosevelt Island snowfall of 2012 today – here are some scenes.
Sledding on Roosevelt Island Southtown hills
playing at Octagon Field
and shoveling show
before getting a hot drink from Starbucks.
The Farmers Market was open
and snow was removed from sidewalks
and streets.
There was even a NYC Sanitation Snow Plow Truck on the streets of Roosevelt Island today. Do not remember seeing that sight during past snow storms.
